Why is ZIWI discontinuing some of their canned recipes?

The unforeseen consequences of the global pandemic have affected business's manufacturing, supply, and inventory processes. Despite our best efforts to overcome these challenges, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue select items to improve inventory availability on our best-selling recipes. 

Does ZIWI have plans to discontinue other recipes?

We are optimistic our capacity and innovation advancement efforts will eliminate any additional SKU discontinuations due to manufacturing disruptions.

I am feeding my pet a discontinued recipe. Where can I buy the remaining inventory?

We encourage checking shop.ziwipets.com, Amazon, and Chewy. You can also utilize our store locator on our website to contact local retailers in your area to determine their availability of discontinued items.

Will my pet have digestive upset if I switch to a different recipe?

Our high-meat, low-carbohydrate recipes typically do not cause digestive upset when rotating from one to another. However, if your pet has a history of food sensitivities or allergies, we always recommend following ZIWIs transitioning guide (available on our website) and consulting health concerns with your veterinarian.

My pet can’t eat chickpeas. Will you come out with a new canned recipe that doesn’t include chickpeas?

Yes, we are actively working behind the scenes to gain incremental capacity and intend to bring new can offerings to the market in the future.
