Feeding & Storage Instructions
Feeding Guidelines
The best way to determine proper feeding guidelines for your pet is by utilizing our online feeding calculator found here. This tool allows you to enter in the unique characteristics of your pet to determine the proper feeding amount, including weight and life stage.
Transitioning to ZIWI
A sudden change in diet or overfeeding can result in digestive issues. ZIWI Peak is nutrient dense. A little goes a long way, don’t be surprised if you feed less! Introduce a new recipe slowly over 6-8 days, gradually increasing the amount of the new recipe while decreasing the old, until you are fully transitioned.
Ways to Feed
For optimum health we recommend you feed 100% ZIWI Peak. However, if you wish to feed ZIWI Peak with another food type, you can at any ratio you like. ZIWI Peak can be fed in many different ways as your pet’s sole daily food, as a nutritious topper on your existing food or as a tasty treat.
Storage Instructions
Refrigerate unused portion and use within 7 days of opening. Be sure to have a clean bowl of cool, fresh water available at all times.

Worth Every Penny

Thank you! One of my cats is neurotic, allergic to poultry, has skin problems, weight problems, you name it. He was having stomach issues and vomiting regularly on dry food, so I decided to up my food budget and splurge for canned food. Yours was the best I had available to me nutritionally, and it's made SUCH a big difference. The poultry, and the beef and rabbit and lamb are huge hits. After six weeks on the rabbit and lamb canned food he's more active, has more energy, his fur is shinier, he cleans himself more, and he's even losing a little weight. I wasn't expecting this much change, so while it's a huge expense for me, it's worth it. The other cat is made of iron and would be fine on discount kibble from the grocery, but I switched her too since they eat at the same time. She also now has more energy, glossier fur, and has lost the tiny bit of extra weight she was carrying around. I just wanted to thank you for making this food and I hope you continue to provide it. It means so much to me to have them healthy, especially in these times.
